Great service from Jay. Spent a small fortune but glad for his recommendations, bought a pair of pants that I would have never normally tried on and bought 2 of the same T-shirt in the same colour because they fit so well. Looking forward to my next spending spree.

Called the Manchester store to ask if they have other stores near me for three up & coming family members birthdays , the guy on the phone abruptly cut in with a rude & aggressive tone “who are you”. Wow I thought good start.
After reading the other feedback it looks like I’m not the first person to experience such a toxic attitude from this little store.
Advise: I would strongly suggest who ever you are at the Manchester store go & learn some basic customer service skills or find another more suited job maybe as a debt collector.
Due to your vile aggressive attitude you’ve just lost out on potentially £400 worth of sales, great way to do business, NOT! absolutely clueless.
We’ve now found a similar outlet that’s cheaper & with a lovely warm, professional & friendly response.

Lovely little store in the heart of town with unique items. Store owner was super friendly and gave us a rundown of the local history and the Karhu brand that I've only seen in this shop. It's set I'm this old victoriana building with cafés. I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Well,I saw a pair of Redwing boots I was after at the R Store, so placed the order and they were posted the following day,so no complaints there, however, good old Royal Mail then flipped out,( not sure what they'd been partaking in but I definitely want some), and decided that not enough postage had been paid(even though it obviously had), this would have been fine but they decided to not actually tell anyone this and just left my parcel in limbo somewhere....after a bout of detective work worthy of Columbo I managed to find out what had gone on and tried to pay the missing postage fee(even though it had enough postage already paid)and did this online only to be then told that whoever told me to pay it like this(a Royal mail customer service advisor) was wrong and I couldn't pay it until I received a fee to pay card, which wouldn't happen until the parcel reached my local sorting office , which they weren't sure when would happen because they didn't know where it was? Anyhow, after 7 weeks ,,many phone calls, personal visits ,emails, and a letter of apology from Royal mail, i did get a fee to pay card and after paying the fee,again , I received my boots and they were amazing..... The R Store did refund me the money I'd paid to Royal mail and were amazingly helpful all the way through this debacle, so they are highly recommended and I'll certainly shop with them in future..... Royal mail on the other hand were a bunch of cowboys who,if I had my way, would be placed in stocks and pummelled with as many rotten pomegranates as I could lay my hands on.

My wife and daughter visited the shop on Saturday, as it was my wife's birthday ? shopping trip and said that it is a great place for fantastic brands. The owner was really nice and chatted with my wife and daughter and I got a new Le Labourer jacket ? I am looking forward to visiting the R Store when I next get to Manchester. Wish we had the R Store in Glasgow.

Been today and wanted to buy some shoes but was “advised” the store doesn’t sell women’s sizes. A rude, arrogant and snobby acting member of stuff completely put me off the label and shoes I would have purchased otherwise. Not a single polite advice on where elsewhere to purchase what I was after, customer service training much needed. I won’t be returning again.
