Matt did an outstanding job designing building and installing the cabinets for the challenging space! The craftsmanship is of highest quality. Every step of the process, Matt made excellent suggestions and listened when we wanted to customize this or that. We also asked him to design and build a reading nook / daybed in our basement, complete with lots of drawer storage. Once again incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail by Matt and it turned out wonderfully.

Everything you would ever want in a contractor Mathew managed to exceed. He was in our house more than any other contractor and was the easiest person to work with. His work was impeccable. His availability and the timeliness and quality of his work exceeded our expectations. He worked through our mistakes and problem areas and made some excellent suggestions and fixes and everything turned out beautifully. We were even given an opportunity by the cabinet company to touch up any damage to the cabinets but there was absolutely no need to do this because Mathew handled our cabinets with such care. He also built the base for the 10 foot counter seating area and it turned out beautiful as you can see. Thankfully, he was able to replace our 80's kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. We are so happy with all the changes Mathew made. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Matt did an incredible job on our closets! Our house is on the smaller side and was built in the 1920's, so closet space was at a minimum. It was especially noticeable in our guest bedroom since the closet was so shallow that items could only be effectively hung in the doorframe or had to be stored at an angle. Matt turned my vision of an open closet space into reality and was creative in maximizing all available space. It turned out perfectly and I couldn't be happier!

We had Matt come and completely overhaul our kitchen from 1980. From day 1 we knew we made the right choice going with him. He handled each part of the job with the highest level of professionalism and a few things really stood out to me.

The first was how clean he was. Having your kitchen ripped up is difficult, but Matt went above and beyond to ensure that the workspace was cleaned up, swept, and organized at the end of each day and that the kitchen was taped off with a plastic barrier so the rest of the house was not impacted with all the dust. Having the kitchen clean and the rest of the house usable made the process less "intrusive" than it could have been. I have heard horror stories of my friends and family with dust in their house for months - Matt made sure this was not the case.

The second was communication. During a large project some things are going to come up. He was very knowledgeable with the alternatives, and suggestions on how to tackle the issues that came up. He let us take our time in discussing alternatives and was never pushy. This made us feel like he was truly a partner in getting us the best finished product imaginable.

Finally, Matt's attention to detail is second to none. There are many details that go into a kitchen remodel. Being a quarter inch off or slightly unlevel may be the easier route to go sometimes but Matt would not compromise and took the time to get everything perfect. I have high standards, and to say he met them is an understatement. One example of this was a wood beam he installed on our ceiling. I'm watching him build this thing and he is taking care to finish and perfect the edge that is pointing up, that nobody would see unless they are on a ladder. I question why he is doing this and say "who is going to know about this?" and he simply replies "I'd know if it was unfinished." That is all you need to know, every detail is going to have to pass HIS level of perfection which is high.

I could write for days about how happy I am with the finished product. Matt took care of everything from demo, to putting my house back together again and even building a custom cabinet for my dog's food and treats. I won't ever need a new kitchen again but I would use Matt for a bathroom and would recommend him to anyone looking for work done.
