Unfortunately, my experience at this tire shop was extremely negative. I brought my motorcycle in for a simple tyres change, but the situation was far from satisfactory.
First of all, they didn’t even have the proper stands to lift the bike and instead used a roof hoist. They lifted the motorcycle by the handlebar for the front wheel and strapped it from the passenger footrests for the rear wheel. A method that seemed unsafe and anything but professional.
The tyre change, which should normally be a relatively quick job, took over two hours, with two people working on it. A complete lack of competence when it comes to motorcycles.
The price listed on their website was completely different from what they charged me. Even though I asked them to honor the online price, they flatly refused. The website listed €22 for the front wheel and €22 for the rear wheel, with no mention of extra costs for mounting and removing the wheels from the bike. Additionally, it mentioned a cost of €11.50 for balancing, which gave the impression that it was included in the tire mounting price if the full service was requested.
In the end, I had to pay €107, more than double what was expected, with the following breakdown:
- €28 for mounting and removing the tires from the rims
- €32 for balancing
- €38 for mounting and removing the rims from the bike
- €9 for the disposal of the old tires.
Moreover, "balancing" was listed twice (once included in the tire mounting on the rims, and a second time as a separate service).
But the worst part was how I was treated. None of the staff spoke English, nor did they make an effort to speak slowly in German to help me understand. Even though I have an A2 level in German and did my best to communicate in the language, they seemed to mock me by talking among themselves and laughing, as if they were making fun of me for not understanding everything they were saying.
In conclusion, I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone looking to bring their motorcycle here. The service was slow, incompetent, and the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate.
