Terrible customer service from Jeanie Miller. Renters beware of being belittled. Worst customer service ever, although they state they hold the upmost INTEGRITY on their website. After calling the manager, all she said was “ok goodbye”. Do NOT recommend.

I see a lot of people have had the same problems we did and I wish I had read the reviews before we rented from them. Rent was raised $500 in 2 years which they blame on the owner and property value. We paid well near $3,000 to move in and got less than $150 dollars from our security deposit back. I have documentation on the houses condition when we moved in and we hired a company to clean when we left, they charged us $350 dollars plus $75 each for water and power to be turned on to have someone come in clean when we left it cleaner than when we moved in, I still have the pictures. Worn and faded carpet was part of the nonrefundable deposit, they keep 1/3 for carpet cleaning but still mentioned that in the charges for cleaning on top of 1/3. I have pictures of the doors they mention needed replacing when they looked like that when we moved in. A tons of things mentioned in move out paper work were like that before we moved in, I don’t understand how I can be charged for it when I just dealt with it and didn’t cause it. A/C went out in the summer while I was pregnant and they took 4 days to fix it, which they have 5 legally. Sent a landscaper to my house and he showed up at 6am trying to get in the backyard smelling like beer. Never received any response on that. When we moved in the heat wasn’t working and no one told us, a vendor showed up to fix it not knowing anyone was living there. Countless times they took forever to get ahold of so I just began to not reach out to them. Jeanie was at least nice and pleasant to deal with. I reached out to them to talk about all the charges but after reading the reviews I don’t expect to hear much of a response, except I suppose one saying there’s two sides to every story or blaming the owner for the charges.

Similar to other posts. We followed their move out instructions which were very general and vague. On our move out evaluation they took pictures of dust on the top of a doggy door which had been sealed up, dirt in the OUTSIDE entryway, dirt on the OUTSIDE light fixtures, and food on the side of the stove (which they had to pull out from a recess to take pictures of). They then charged us to turn electricity and water back on for the maid to clean (which we were also charged for). The entire time we rented, a landscaping company came and took care of the lawn, then when we check out I got charged for lawn clean up because they found one weed in the grass. We left the place WAY cleaner than when we moved in. When we were done unloading after moving in, our feet were black on the bottom from walking on the floors even though supposedly carpets were cleaned and floors were mopped before we moved in. There were lights that were burnt out in every room when we moved in that we had to replace. We got back 1/3 of our deposit. Unfortunately like good con artists this company legally covers its butt. They have hired some good attorneys to make their contracts cover every possibility. Rose and Jeanie were very nice through it all, but I felt like I got taken advantage of at the end.

They WILL find things that have to be cleaned when you move out. Leave the water and electricity on until after their cleaning person comes so you can at least save $150 of your deposit. Document EVERYTHING when you move in on their sheet they give you.

We have used Rose as our property manager for our rental house in AZ for the last 2 years, and have been very happy with the service we have received. Rose and Dawn have always communicated with me promptly with any issues and found quality tenants very quickly( 2 weeks). I thought having a rental property was going to be a hassle, but using R & C has made it quite painless. I have recommended them to several friends in the East Valley looking for a property manager.

They have a history of keeping deposits. They send a very generic charge list and never tell you what was not cleaned or damaged. We cleaned too to bottom and had a neighbor that is a realtor check it out too.

The ladies are super rude and grumpy. They act like they are above you. I would stay far away. We had great neighbors that were renting out their homes and I warned them not to use R&C. Hopefully they start to be a little more honest but I doubt it. Look up Google reviews and you will see all the tenants have complained. I also filed a complaint with the real estate board.

I have a video and pictures of the property. They will do all they can to keep your money.

I have been with R & C for a year now, and I am very satisfied with their service. The last thing on earth I ever wanted to be was a landlord, and I definitely did not want my beautiful house to become a rental. When searching for a property manager, I left messages with several companies, and most never even called me back. However, Rose responded promptly, and gave me straightforward answers to all of my questions. Her knowledge and years of experience in property management made me feel much more comfortable about renting out my home. R & C found a quality tenant who always pays on time, and who is taking good care of the property. This has turned out to be a positive experience-- in fact, there is so little to worry about, I often forget I have a rental home. I have referred several friends to R & C without hesitation.

I bought my property in Gilbert AZ , hoping to use it as our retirement home. But unexpected circumstances had forced me to rent it out. Without the expertise and smooth management takeover that Rose and her team did I would have been lost since I live in the San Francisco , Ca. I feel very comfortable with the way they handle and manage my property. They are only a phone call away and they really live up to my expectations on how property management is handled.

After completing a one month lease I opted to stay but month to month. During my year and a half in the home I put in a minimal amount of work orders, it was like pulling teeth to get them to fix ANYTHING. After the monsoon rains the ceiling over the bathroom began leaking, I reported it and it vvt took almost a week to get a response and another week before someone came out. I was forced to move due to the leak never getting fixed. They attempted to bully me ,saying I was in breach of lease and I had to pay for another whole month in a home with no usable bathroom. I highly suggest you do not use this management company for your property or rent from this company. It's been over a month since I moved and I haven't received anything about my security depost,by state law they have 2 weeks. When I moved in there was pet stained carpet throughout the home that they didn't deem neccessary to remove. I asked if we could remove it due to hygiene issues,. I was charged a 300 dollar carpet cleaning fee that was supposed to be refunded after moving out.
