I gave this company multiple attempts back-and-forth with many emails trying to give them the benefit of the doubt from my first experience to my last. I purchased multiple tunes and a tuner which I was planning on using for my entire fleet vehicles only to find out, I was given worse performance and only check engine codes. They did try a couple times to revise the tune, but we’re unsuccessful to deliver. They said the tuner or owner was in Australia and I asked for a refund since they were unable to follow through. They basically just started ghosting the emails because they did not want to refund the money apparently. Now I have a tuner paperweight with the original packaging and I had to put my engine back to stock tuning in order to get the check engine lights to disappear. Avoid this company like the plague is my advice, very unprofessional.

Great Service and communication. Answered all of my questions (And I had a lot too). Gave me a courtesy call to let me know that they were finished with the Performance Tune and were going to send the ECU back to me with a tracking number. Had my 2014 Mercedes C350 tuned and immediately noticed a difference in 1st gear. Quicker throttle response and smoother gear shifting as well. I would highly recommend.

Horrible customer service. All about the money grab. They said that they could fix a problem I had if I sent them money. I asked "What if that doesn't fix it" and I was told they would refund my money. They couldn't fix it and refused to refund me. The positive is that the tune I ended up getting from another company was much stronger/better anyway. Stay away from these guys.

Note: My issue was never that you couldn't fix my car. You said "send us $100 and we can fix it". I called and in that discussion I said that it was unlikely that it would fix it and I was told "if it doesn't we will refund the $100". It didn't, you did ZERO work, and then you refused to give me my money back. This is all about how you treat the customer and business ethics. I could care less about the $100.

horible service i have took a car in to get tuned and was horribly tuned kept bogging, i asked for a retune and they didnt want to tune. The tuner was always out of town and we wonder why, busy taking money from other companies for his mother. dont trust these tune files they are garbage. STAY AWAY, from this mickey mouse shop they are scammers and will cause issues to your car.

I ran an OE Tune on my 2014 Mercedes Gl350 (OM642 Diesel and not my first Mercedes, with all that that implies) since April of 2022. If you do not have a trusted Mercedes Benz Mechanic that WILL INSTALL AND HAS WORKED ON OE tunes with GLs, and will back up their work, then I do not recommend using this tune or any other OE Tune Mercedes type engine diesel tune. The OE Tuning instructions assume an expert mechanic level of experience with the vehicle, and OE support also assumes this. I followed the instructions to the letter, and double-checked with my independent Mercedes Mechanic. I ran the tune with only light driving miles on country roads and limited use (no towing), 7,000 miles and with synthetic oil changes. The original issue that prompted me to get the tune, was intermittent EGR valve flapping or malfunctioning. The tune was supposed to delete the EGR valve function, but it did not. I capped the EGR valve closed, as you would do with other diesel EGR deletes, but my Mercedes mechanic diagnosed the engine not getting enough air. When I asked Jeremy at OEM, he did not have an answer for why capping the EGR does not work. I replaced the EGR valve, even though the tune was supposed to delete the EGR function, and what do you know, the OM642 started running great!

I will say this about their tune, it is a performance or racing tune. The gears do not coast when coasting, like the vehicle runs in a manual transmission gear, or engine braking in diesel terminology. The tune runs with more power at the expense of fuel economy. I got ~24 MPG at 75 MPH before the tune and ~22MPG at 75MPH after the tune. I was expecting at least 2 MPG better than stock.

The real problem with the tune was white smoke in the exhaust. It was not excessive, but enough to notice in the rear view. This started with the tune and EGR delete. OEM kept saying that the engine was burning oil. They would not give me any diagnostic help except to say find a good Mercedes GL diesel mechanic. I was willing to bring the vehicle to them, but they did not accept. I asked them for mechanic referrals, but they had none. This is all that I needed to know at this point, but I wanted to see if this issue could actually be fixed. I replaced fuel injectors and started to replace the turbo, when I found a real Mercedes Diesel mechanic. They diagnosed the white smoke as coolant in the combustion cylinders. I made an appointment with the expert Mercedes Diesel mechanic to overhaul the engine and get a better tune, but the engine seized or locked up on the way to the shop. What luck (bad)! Of course they would not repair the engine in this state, and required an engine replacement. Now the vehicle is worth more for scrap than paying for a new engine. It is certainly the risk that I assumed when going with this tune, but this company gives no support if things go wrong. Buyer beware.

Please learn from my mistake and do not use OE Tunes for Mercedes Diesels! If you want to verify, please contact me.

Went there around May of 2023 to get a map tune for my 2015 Kia forte sx(auto). They did a map tune that supposedly increased boost and increased hp and torque. They also did a tune that added pops and bangs to the exhaust. After they finished, all was looking good because we tested out the exhaust pops which worked. However, it took a quick turn for the worse when leaving because once I shifted to reverse, the car jerked violently. Upon test driving I found out that the car was on limp mode and stuck on only 3rd gear. They tried to fix it by remapping the tune differently until going all the way back to stock tune. However nothing worked. I was stuck with a wrecked transmission and had to drive home stuck on 3rd gear.
So I brought my car to my trusted mechanic and found that the transmission valve body was busted. I know that OE’s work was tuning the ECU which should have worked independently from the transmission. However, it was speculated that something from what they did triggered a series of events that caused the transmission to malfunction.
Lastly, the big kicker that my mechanic found was that the ECU of my car also completely short circuited and malfunctioned.
So instead of getting the tune that I expected, I ended up leaving OE Tuning’s shop with a busted transmission and a short circuited ECU. It’s safe to say that I had a terrible experience from this business 🙁

Please people do your research before dealing with Jeremy. 1st off there's no location. He's a scammer. Do yourself a favor and watched The story of Gintani episode 4 on your tube. Jeremy scammed this man out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Jeremy lives in Australia and claims to have a location here in California. I wish I found Gintanis video 4 months ago. I wouldn't have a blown up car that I can't afford to fix right now. This is everyone's warning if you dral with him. You will get screwed. Read all the other reviews as well.

This is a follow-up review to my first one; now that I've had some more time driving the car with the new tune all I can say is OE Tuning (and Jerry) is awesome. The tune completely transforms the car (E500 M278) without sacrificing any daily driver characteristics; the car is a beast when I want it to be and factory comfortable when I am just cruising.

The after sales service is excellent so I would have no hesitations recommending this company to any of my family and friends.
