Tim is an excellent tuner and technician. I've been very happy with his work on my Knabe 5'8" grand and my Baldwin Hamilton studio upright. Tim has tuned my 1886 Steinway grand for a few years now. I think he gives a great tuning and he has done some minor regulation to the action. My piano always sounds better and even feels easier to play after his visits. I appreciate that he is always punctual and he is a very friendly guy as well.

Recommended by my piano professor at NYU, Timothy Nuernberger has not disappointed in the several years I’ve used him to maintain my Baldwin Hamilton upright. I’m playing Debussy’s Arabesque No. 1; the piece has has never sounded so resonant, so in tune. So glorious, in fact, that I look forward to practicing and tackling new repertoire. By the way, an occasional paid critic (for theater) I do not post reviews for free, but I gladly make an exception here.

Tim is a master craftsman. Better expertise, attention to detail, and quality than the more "commercial" piano shops in NYC. I am lucky to have him do simple tunings and occasional action regulation, but he does some other truly fantastic projects rebuilding entire pianos. Always professional and on time, and reasonable fees.

Tim Nuernberger's work is of the highest quality. He is an excellent, very dedicated piano tuner and technician. Always professional and very personable, he also explains very clearly when certain aspects of my 1908 restored Steinway Model A need improvement or adjustment, thus offering great suggestions.
