This is a review of the service, I received.
I ordered the bike as "in stock - ready to collect" - it wasn't. I didn't mind the wait too much, not a big issue.
I was told that when I collected the bike, it would be "all charged up and road ready", as it turned out, this was not the case. The tyres were barely inflated, and the battery was only partially charged. I had to make several adjustments to personalize, but this was no real problem. I DO acknowledge that Bike Build service is free, but the service I expected was not quite what I got. Not what I would call "bad service", but below expectations - it was okay and just adequate. I would say - (NB) 3.5 stars!

Had help in store to choose a baby car seat from a brilliant member of staff who explained and demonstrated which seat would suit my needs best. They then fitted the chosen seat into my car showing me how to fit it correctly and adjust the seat to fit my child. Altogether an excellent service.

Found exactly the products I wanted. Gillian, on the checkout, was just lovely and checked my email and told me I could get 5% off. I only bought about £15 worth of stuff for our granddaughters bikes and even then the Premium Club membership paid off.

Went in to get some mountain bike shoes and cleats and Dec was incredibly helpful. He also checked and I had a £5 discount which he applied. He then had a good look for some appropriate brakes for my new bike when I realised they’d also need replacing. Many thanks!

We visited Halfords today my husband wanted to buy roof rack rail bars for his new car he needed help because he wasn’t sure of the measurements, so we went to ask one of the team members. The lady wasn’t helpful at all she told my husband to go home and place his order online.
I wasn’t impressed at all because we traveled 20 miles due to our local Halfords was closed 2 months ago.

I ordered engine oil on line through click and collect yesterday to collect today.
I provided the receipt on my phone as proof of purchase and the 1 litre of oil was handed to me.
I left the premises and then noticed that I had been given the wrong oil.
If I had not noticed the error then the result could have been catastrophic to my car’s engine.
The item was exchanged without any problems but I am not happy.
I have given 1star because this was a sloppy mistake and the review would not send without a least 1 star.
