About a year ago, my car started showing the P17D800 error (High Clutch Temperature). The symptoms suggested it was more of an issue with the temperature sensor than the clutch itself, as the error would sometimes not appear at all, while other days it would show up after just 10 minutes of driving. I decided to take the car to a service center that had good reviews on Instagram.

We met with the mechanic, Sergey (who I believe is the owner), and he made a good impression. He suggested increasing the pressure in the hydraulic couplings, running a diagnostic, and then making a decision. Later, when I brought the car in for repair, Sergey informed me that the clutch needed to be replaced and that the entire job would cost no more than $2800-$2900. Trusting him, I decided to leave the car.

I’ve always been meticulous with my car, only using original parts. When I left the car, I asked them to check a few issues: difficulty shifting from P to D and a strange noise after the transmission warmed up. I agreed to the repair, with the request that they call me if any questions arose.

On April 9th, they called to say the repair was finished, but that the crankshaft or camshaft wires needed replacing (I can’t recall exactly). This surprised me since there had been no such errors before. However, trusting the professionals, I agreed. When I came to pick up the car, I noticed wires sticking out of the ECU, which were touching the exhaust and could have melted. It turned out that when they removed the transmission, they damaged the wiring, and to fix the problem, they did a temporary fix. Additionally, during a detailed inspection, I found that the original cover plug was missing, and a few bolts were lost. Sergey tried to resolve this by taking a plug from another customer’s car.

After the repair, I paid around $3000, but after 600 miles, the P174000 error reappeared. I called Sergey, who said that the warranty only covered the clutch, not their workmanship.

I’m disappointed with the quality of the work and the service’s attitude. I want to warn everyone: be careful, inspect your car after repairs to avoid further issues.

I brought my Audi S5 to this shop and they were the only shop that can diagnose it correctly. The owner and his team are mechanically inclined to do any mechanical work and will be able to give you a correct diagnosis. I will be back with them in the future when I need more work done. Appreciate the honesty.

Amazing shop and very friendly ! Helped me out with my Audi s3 and told them my car was misfiring and they did a test helped me out and then I told them I want to go stage 2 and had a great deal for it and did it in an hour. Asked me if I liked the pops and bangs and if I wanted more and how I wanted it . The car is running great and better than ever and was able to take off all the codes from my exhaust. Go to them if you have a Euro and you want to get a good tune !

What a pleasure. Had gone to other shops to fix my carbon steering wheel installation that went wrong at another shop. Other shops told me that it would cost me 700+ to fix and it would take a week. I came Here and the owner diagnosed, and fixed it for less than half of that other quote, and it only took him 3 hours. The knowledge with German cars that this group has is immense. Will be back for all the good stuff these guys have to offer !
