I am very happy with my experience at D&R. The service has been great. The staff is superb. They are very attentive and always professional. Melany Torres is always a pleasure to deal with. I tend to forget my appointment dates so I find myself constantly calling the office and she’s the one that answers the phone to confirm the dates.

I went to this dentist as a new patient for an exam and cleaning. All they did were X-rays of my mouth. The dentist never looked inside my mouth at any given time during the visit. He Immediately without a full and complete examination of my mouth, said I need to have a deep cleaning. He said we charge $600 but will charge you less since you have an HMO. I refused to do a deep cleaning  and asked to do a simple cleaning which is what I’ve always done my entire life. He refused, seemed upset at my refusal of this treatment and walked out of the room, and instead made a false diagnosis. I requested a copy of my records. I only received a copy of a panoramic, 4 bitewings, 2 Periapical images, and a referral to a specialist for my supposed periodontal disease. I requested a copy of my periodontal examination and proposed treatment plan which I was never given a copy nor did I get a response from them for this request.  I have since had the X-rays provided to me reviewed by other dentists and a specialist who have said that my mouth was in great shape, that I only needed a regular cleaning. His problem was that he couldn’t make money off me and my insurance, so he didn’t want to waste his time with a simple cleaning. Now he will bill my insurance a comprehensive exam ( which includes a periodontal exam, and an oral evaluation) that he never performed. Since my visit, I have made a formal complaint due to this doctors unethical behavior, fraud, and false diagnosis, so they can open up an investigation for his inaccurate treatment plans that are being billed to companies and charged to patients. This doctor is not pleasant and has a terrible attitude. This unethical behavior is unacceptable. Please be careful so you do not get scammed too!!

Greatest dental experience! Staff is amazing ! I had Yadira and Mileydis the dental assistants and Melany the front desk as well as Dr.Rodriguez everyone was so polite and informing. Definitely recommend this practice for all your dental needs

I went to Dr. Rodriguez's office due to an emergency and I was taken care of in the most pleasant way ! The staff is so professional and friendly , not to mention Dr. Rodriguez, he treated me so well that I have brought my whole family to be treated and they are well so pleased . I'm not one to leave reviews but I was treated so well that I thought to let him know that I appreciate his service so much , thank you Dr. Rodriguez and your friendly staff ! I will continue with my treatment in the future with them. Thanks to my experience, you're awesome!

This place is a scam they try to tell you that you need services you really don’t I have insurance to cover regular cleanings every year and was told I needed a deep one funny thing is I had already had one a few months prior that costed me $200 and I didn’t have any calcification. They want to overcharge people for deep cleanings and to top it off they will not perform your annual cleaning at all if they “recommend” a deep one even if you’re entitled to the regular cleaning twice a year. Also when I asked the receptionist to have the Dr. call me to address this issue she acted in a reprehensible way giving me an attitude and then cancelled my appointment without telling me. I wonder if her employer is aware of this behavior. All I can say is I will be avoiding this place and have found a phenomenal dentist in Coral gables who is honest and does excellent work named dr v. Rodriguez. People should be treated like people not like cash cows.
