Russell set up my new Strandberg Boden and installed a tremol-no mod in it as well. The entire time he was super communicative and friendly. He also had a very fast turnaround time (2 days) and his price was very reasonable. Cannot recommend this guy enough!

Outstanding guitar maintainence and repair. He was responsive, kind, and worked fast! Russell repaired my father's 30 year old Lowden acoustic guitar. It needed some real TLC, new strings, and to repair some stress cracks from the wood drying out. The guitar's tone and feel is like brand new and it continues to bring joy, memories, and nostalgic sounds time after time. 10/10 I would recommend his services especially considering the challenge of Covid-19 restrictions.

BLESSED. THANKFUL. I just moved to the area and my guitar tech/luthier was back in Northern California and last Friday my Les Paul Classic (1960) took it's Gibson spill and the headstock cracked. This particular guitar was a guitar I wanted since I was 12 years old, my wife bought it for me as a wedding gift last year. I was broken, super bummed as I own a few instruments however because of the surprise of this particular guitar...it is my favorite in the quiver. I called Russell (who I also found online from reviews) and he answered and spoke to me about the situation. Literally the calmest, kindest dude ever and completely changed my attitude of sadness and frustration. I met him at his studio in Newport and within a few days, the guitar itself was fixed/repaired. Sure there's a battle wound however the tone/playablity HAS NOT changed and I refuse to put the thing down (I missed this thing). I am looking forward to having him work on my other instruments. If you're looking for an epic luthier and guitar tech in the area, RUSSELL IS THE DUDE. Don't hesitate reaching out to him. Thank you Russell for being so epic brother!
