Definitely won't use this company again quick enough to stick the hand out for the money then you are forgotten about
I placed an order for a brand new Hoffman tyre machine and Hoffman balancer

No communication for delivery etc I had to do all the chasing

The balancer arrived no power cable so great start I still cant go to work as a mobile tyre fitter

The tyre machine is so slow and underpowered I asked on numerous occasions do you have any help regarding the best battery to run this machine my old snap on would change 12 commercial tyres without the need to start the van this new one cant do a single 13" wheel I had to fit it with leavers which is not great after spending a total of 12k on equipment

Incase anyone is curious the machine is

Excellent service ?

I called them on Tuesday as my balancer went down that evening.
The gentleman on the phone confirmed I could collect my balancer as I was in a very sticky situation.
I payed for it there and then and collected it wendnesday. I was lucky anuff to be back on the road Wednesday afternoon.
So a massive thank you to every one that helped me loose out on alot off sale

Having experienced both working with and purchasing from Tyre Bay I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are clearly passionate about what they do and couldn't help me enough, even with a lower value order. Products were great quality and I was kept informed throughout the delivery process. Ordering online was great, but knowing you can pick up the phone and someone will take the time to help you gives real peace of mind.

On the 6th December I placed an order for x2 boxes 5l bottles of polygard artic screenwash (8 5litre bottles in total) a week went by i heard nothing other than a order confirmation email.
I emailed to enquire what was happening i got no reply. Other next few days I sent 3 more emails that would go unanswered.
On the 16th I emailed again this time I got a reply from the sales manager telling me my order shipped on the 7th and got misrouted by dpd and ended up at our local depot damaged.

Ok these things happen . But it seemed at little strange to me as every parcel i had in the last 8 years off dpd I have always had a email and text giving me a hour time slot .

Now this is the bit I couldn't believe the sales manager ( I won't name him) tells me he has run out of stock on the x4 5ltr bottles and will send me x20 1 ltr bottles if I was ok with this
How he would think i would be ok with paying for 2 boxes of x4 5ltr bottles (40 litres) and only receiving 20 ltrs half of what I paid for
.I requested a full refund on Wednesday 2 days later I still have not received the refund i emailed asking when I would get the refund and didn't get a reply.
So I got PayPal involved to sort my refund out.

I just wish I had read the bad reviews on this place before I ordered terrible customer service they lie to you and try to rip you off then won't refund you your money.

I have bought repair equipment from Tyre Bay a few times and their deliveries are very quick and when there has been a stock issue they have called and sorted. It's like online shopping should be. You are actually buying from real people not a computer based in a basement somewhere offering no customer service. I would happily recommend.

We have only purchased from Tyre Bay Direct on a couple of occasions and have always found their service to be excellent. The latest purchase was for car seat covers as our local supplier had run out. I called Tyre Bay Direct to check stock and was told that they had 28 on the shelf. I placed my order on-line as was warned that (due to the current situation) the delivery may take longer than usual and advised to wait at east five working days for the delivery before asking questions. I was extremely pleased when my delivery arrived the following day!
