R+L Carriers was hired by the vendor of my mini-split AC units. From the phone call with Christina in the office for scheduling to the actual delivery of the pallet, my experience was 5 star! Joanna Ford, whom made the delivery, was professional, courteous, personable and kind enough to off load the pallet into our garage. The delivery was also made within the 3 hr. window given. Very happy with this carrier company and the two gals that made this an easy, stress-free delivery. Thank you. June

DO NOT USE!! I had what was supposed to be 102 music stands delivered last week (should have been 17 cases). They arrived shrink wrapped on a pallet. We unloaded the pallet immediately and there were only 15 cases on it. .Musicians Friend who shipped them supposedly did a count and swears they shipped 102 stands. I called J&L within minutes of unloading and they won’t talk to me because I didn’t hire them to deliver. I’m out almost $600 because it’s their word over mine. Someone is lying here. They’re both getting 1 star until the truth comes out.

One of the worst freight experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered furniture which I was not expecting it to come until next week. I received a text message approximately 28 minutes before the a $1300 delivery was going to happen.. and I was not home. They stated they would be there before 1pm. I left work, they did not arrive by 1pm, and I called back and they stated they had until 3pm to deliver it. Tried to cancel the order with the company at that point who stated I’d be charged hundreds in return freight and restocking fees. Not happy with either company! If you’re looking to get into the freight business, the bar ain’t too high in the customer service realm of it.

Scheduled for our new A.C. Unit to be delivered. First day received email stating unit would arrive between 11a.m. and 3pm. It didn’t come nor did we receive a phone call from them. I called late that day and was told they made a mistake. They scheduled for next day between 8 am & 4:30 pm.
I waited until 3 and called them only to be told it wasn’t scheduled. They didn’t have the courtesy to call us and let us know it wasn’t coming. I called again and was promised it would be delivered the third day at 9:00 am sharp. We would be the first delivery. I called at 8:15 am and was told it would be a two hour window for delivery when I was promised it would be delivered at a specific time. Not only do the lie about delivery they are also unprofessional and unsympathetic to customer need. We live in Fresno area where it’s 105-108 degrees and in great need of A.C. especially when you have a baby at home. DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!?

ship with this company and used their tracking system which does not update or incorrect update. I had taken many days off just to wait for my items to arrive (signature needed).This is the third time they have reschedule for delivery.
Receptionist were helpful with questions. I hope who ever is running this business do a better job with training employees on how to update shipping.

I purchased an item that was supposed to arrive 04/26/18. I did not receive my item until 05/08/18. When I contacted your company I was told that they attempted delivery outside of our business hours. When I asked why they would try after hours I was told by your employee that it is not their responsibility to know our exact hours. Your company then charged the Company from which I purchased my item an additional delivery fee in order to deliver. We were supposed to open for business on 05/01/18 and were unable to do so because I had not received my item from your company. I am not happy with your services. I would not recommend your company to anyone. Also when I asked a few people about their experience with your company I received nothing but bad reviews. If given a choice I will never use your service again. Very rude employees when I called customer service!

The rudest and most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. After telling them that I was a school teacher and could not take a phone call during school hours or receive delivery until after 4pm, they called at 1pm and 2:30pm. I was able to call them back AFTER school at 4pm and Mike Lackey had the nerve to say, "If I would have returned the driver's call, then there wouldn't have been a problem." They have continued to tell me their hours are from 9-5 and they couldn't promise me anything, yet they tried to deliver at 5:30, an hour and a half after they said they would and after I had left home because I had given up on them.

If you have any choice, do not use them! Find someone else. Save yourself the heartache.
